My name is Lauren. I am a freelance editor specializing in cookbooks, recipes, and food writing. I have worked in and adjacent to the food and beverage industry for over 15 years. During my career, I have worked as a cook, a restaurant manager, and held corporate roles.

I received my training in editing through courses at Toronto Metropolitan University and George Brown College. I am an active member of Editors Canada and the Editorial Freelancers Association.

I am not just passionate about food – I am passionate about the people who share food. I want your recipes and words to reach as far as possible.

I am originally from the Tampa Bay Area in Florida, but I have lived in Canada and India. I am currently based in Toronto, Canada.
